Our Curriculum

We offer a range of core Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 subjects as well as a rich blend of pastoral activities that are tailored to the individual learners needs. A typical day at EMLM is divided into AM and PM. In the morning we focus on delivering the Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 curriculum, and in the afternoon we engage our learners in pastoral and therapeutic activities as well as in workshops that cater to the personal, social and emotional well-being of our learners.

The curriculum at EMLM is very dynamic and we aim for learners to learn through the engagement of practical activities in all lessons. We try to make sure lessons are not just about listening to the teacher but also listening to each other and developing skills in verbal communication. There is a focus on literacy in all our subject areas and we work tirelessly with our learners to improve their reading and writing.
